The image on the front page of my site is a photo of an original Mikey Welsh painting that I bought in Burlington, VT around 2006 or so.  He was doing a show at the Flynn (art show) and when I went it, this photo spoke to me. The title, which I consistently forget, is “Sumner Burned The Pancakes Again” and I think the reason I like it so much is that it’s an accurate portrayal of how humanity feels in me and to me sometimes and although I didn’t understand it when I bought it, it’s perfect for this period of history, 2017.
